Buhari rewards Tobi Amusan, Ese Brume, others with National Honours and cash prize.
Tobi Amusan, Ese Brume, and other athletes who competed for Nigeria at the 2022 Commonwealth Games and the World Athletics Championships received National Honors from President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday in Abuja.
Additionally, they received a N200 million cash award.
In congratulating each recipient and awardee, Buhari expressed his belief that this will inspire them to do even more.
He praised the athletes for proudly representing Nigeria in nine athletic events, describing them as champions, deserving ambassadors, national heroes, and heroines.
