Each personality trait has its own strong points. No type is “better” than the other. We’re just each better at certain things. And, we should value our own strengths and rightly expect others to respect us as we are, too.

Have you ever become so engrossed in your own emotions and ideals, or even compassion for the feelings of others, that you are unable to move ahead to achieve your goals?

Once you’ve determined what’s essential to you and what you want to do about it, you may hire a Thinker to assist you in developing a practical strategy for putting it into action.

What you can do to help
When trying to persuade your Thinking coworkers or friends of the value of your ideas, meet them in the halfway by beginning with the facts. Show them how the solution you offer can be completed on time, under budget, and in accordance with the facts.

Try to understand how their preferences make sense to them, and how your emphasis on emotion and values might make them feel criticized, irritated, or overwhelmed. It’s not always about how you convey your point of view.
