Barcelona’s latest offer for star striker Robert Lewandowski is far below Bayern Munich’s current €60 million valuation of him.

The world-famous Pole has made no secret of his intention to move to Catalonia instead of Bavaria this summer, and he spent a significant portion of June telling the media that he is ready to take on a new challenge at this stage of his career.

According to 90min, Barcelona’s most recent offer for Lewandowski was in the neighborhood of €40 million, which is significantly €20 million less than Bayern’s asking price.
Lewandowski is getting more and more frustrated with the impasse in the negotiations, but according to sources close to Bayern, a deal closer to €50 million may be agreed.
Chelsea is keeping a close eye on the situation while Barcelona continues to dither.
The striker’s agent, Pini Zahavi, has informed the new owner of the Blues, Todd Boehly, that his client is committed to moving to Barcelona. However, all parties are aware that while a transfer to Camp Nou is expected to happen at some point, it doesn’t necessarily mean it will, and Chelsea is being kept updated on developments.
