Nollywood actress Etinosa Idemudia has met with the Governor of Edo Godwin Obaseki, and his lovely wife, Mrs. Betsy Obaseki.
The actress was one of the few famous people from Edo State who attended the Edo Film Festival.
Like Mercy Aigbe, Etinosa Idemudia received recognition and honors from the governor for her contributions to the film business.
Etinosa expressed her excitement at being recognized and her gratitude for it.
She remarked on how her years of toil and restless nights are now beginning to pay off.
“What an honor. Not only did I receive an award last night but I was congratulated in person and invited to a dinner by the Executive Governor and the amiable and graceful First Lady of Edo State, His excellency Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki and Her excellency Mrs Bassey Obaseki. What a night. Somehow, all the years of toiling and sleepless nights feel worth it right about now and I am soooo motivated to do more. Uwese Baba. The Edo State International Film Festival is a wonderful initiative that has now been executed and successfully concluded in grand style. An initiative that must be sustained as the creative industry and the youths, even older creatives, have so much more to offer. See you next year”.

In related news, Mercy Aigbe, who was also recognized by the Edo State government, was overcome with emotion.
The Edo State Film Festival was held over the weekend, and the fair-skinned actress was there.
The two-time mother was honored by the governor for her significant contribution to the film industry.
She said,
“My immense gratitude to the organizers of Edo State Film Festival and Big thank you to the Edo State government for this award and recognition…I am humbled. Edo to the world!!!!”.
