Magixx, born Adelabu Alexander, is a Nigerian Afrobeat singer and songwriter who rose to prominence after releasing his EP project titled Magixx.
He was born on September 27, 1999, in Lagos State, Nigeria, to Mr. and Mrs. Alexander. He was raised on Lagos’s mainland and spent his formative years in Ogba town.

Magixx was always interested in music as a child, spending hours listening to songs from various genres such as Pop, Hip-hop, Reggae, and Highlife.
He progressed from writing songs to performing them in front of an audience at local school contests and carnivals. After receiving positive feedback from his audience, he made the decision to pursue music full-time.

Where Magixx had his primary and secondary education is still unknown, but the music genius graduated from high school with good grades in his West African School Certificate.
After secondary school, he gained admission into the University Of Lagos to study for a degree in Mass Communications and graduated after four years of academic learning.

Magixx Career
Magixx as a student at UNILAG, was active in the school’s music scene and regularly attended parties, shows, and concerts.This made him a notable face in Unilag’s entertainment community and helped him to build a small and strong fanbase.
In April 2019, he covered Burna Boy’s hit song Dangote, which went viral on the internet, with over 35,000 views on Instagram. On September 3rd, 2021, he will also release a cover of Adekunle Gold’s Sinner.
Magixx was a Mavin Academy student for months before releasing his debut project, Magixx EP, on the same day he was signed to Mavin Records.
He joined the label’s strong alumni network, which includes Rema, Crayon, Ayra Starr, Ruger Johnny Drille, and Ladipoe.

Magixx was first signed into Music by Nature Record Label (MBN) in 2018 after which he made released of few amazing hit song, he then, Recently signed a record deal Mavin records.
This new signee was announced by Mavin Record CEO, Michael Collins Ajereh also known as Don Jazzy on a statement he made today on his social media handles, he said:
