In a viral video, an unidentified new lawyer prostrated before his mother in full robe to express his gratitude to his supportive mother.
The new lawyer became emotional during the Nigerian Law School’s call-to-bar ceremony in Abuja on Wednesday, prostrating before his mother and thanking her tearfully.
The ceremony marks the induction of new lawyers into the legal profession following their Bar final exams in May.

As he grabbed at her feet, he tearfully said, “I’m nothing without you. I’m grateful for you every day. Without you and God, I’m nothing.”
His mum, however, kept saying “It is well” while asking him to stand up from prostration.
He captioned the post, “My KING MAKER! My QUEEN. I’ll forever HONOR YOU MOM, no matter how big or how famous I get! You’re my source and life, I don’t care whoever is looking, Orisa mi
E Ku aduro Ti”
No fewer than 1,507 graduating students from the Nigerian Law School were called to bar at the event organised by the Body of Benchers.
While 1,501 of the lawyers are fresh graduates, the six others are from the previous call.
