A truck carrying a 40ft container has fallen at Upper-Iweka Junction along the Onitsha-Owerri Road, causing gridlock.
It has gathered that though the truck fell on Friday, traffic in and out of Onitsha has remained at a standstill.
Our correspondent who visited the scene of the incident, gathered that the truck fell as it was coming from River Niger Bridge.
Lamenting about the bad road, the Chairman of Truck Drivers Association of Nigeria, Anambra State chapter, Nze Chukwuebuka Unekwe said that lorries and vehicles fall on a daily basis.
