Moses Armstrong, a Nollywood star, has been arrested for allegedly rapping a 16-year-old girl!
Moses Armstrong, a Nollywood actor and musician, has been detained for allegedly rapping a 16-year-old girl by Akwa Ibom State police.

Emeka Rollas, the national president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, confirmed his imprisonment and described the issue as “a very serious one” in an interview with Qed.ng on Thursday, June 16.
According to him, the situation is being handled by the state’s First Lady, Martha Udom Emmanuel, through her Family Empowerment and Youth Re-Orientation Path Initiative.
The accusation is a terrible development, according to the AGN president, because it involves one of their own. He did say, though, that such an act would not be permitted by the organization.
“To get involved with a child as young as 16years, is not something I and the association represent, would stand for. This is a very sad development involving a member of ours, but I wouldn’t want to comment any further on this case,” he said.
In 2018, Moses lost his wife, actress Rita Armstrong. Rita died as a result of injuries to her spinal cord caused in a car accident.
On Saturday, February 3, 2018, the mother of two was returning from Lagos to her husband’s home in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state, when the Akwa Ibom Transport Company (AKTC) bus carrying her was involved in a horrific crash along the Ugbogui axis of the Benin Ore Lagos Expressway.
